Volunteer Guides and Docents

It is only through the countless volunteers and their commitment to the Mt. Sopris Historical Society, that we can continue to manage our three historic sites and our expanding research archives. We offer many opportunities for the community to get involved and keep our vision moving forward. Consider spending some time in Carbondale’s rich past while keeping the future of our history alive! Community members are invited to serve on committees and need not be board members to do so.
