Junior Docents

Every year, local high school students are invited to participate in the Junior Docent program, introducing them to the history of Colorado and the West. Through hands-on projects, the students learn about historic interpretation, public education, and the nuts-and-bolts operations of local history museums. Students assist as museum guides, interview and videotape interviews, create displays and serve as history’s all-important ambassadors to the future.
